SOME OF Our Services

Our General Inspection : an inspection report is a brief SKETCH to help the client

THE TRICK IS to combine QUALITY with SPEED.  We know realtors and clients and the occupants of a house have only AN HOUR OR TWO to spend with us as we work due to busy schedules and multi tasking.  Our Inspection reports focus on the FOUR MAIN COMPONENTS:  foundation and outer structure, roof and roof supporting structure, doors and windows, interior floors and crawlspace (if there is one.  These are common in older houses), and then the basic systems:  plumbing, electrical, and  AC.

getting insurance

INSURABILITY:  the FOUR POINT and the WIND MITIGATION reports are essential for obtaining insurance.  We can package the price as part of a general inspection or charge a fee only for these two important items.  The MIT can save a client a whole lot of money in windstorm premiums.

THEN there are all the other things we do: Code enforcement help, specialized inspections, consultation

People come to use asking for help legalizing work previously done without permits.  It might be that they are buying a house and some of the improvements never went through permitting process.  Our residential contracting license allows us to obtain permits and call for municipal inspections of work which can then be approved and included in the building history.
